Maureen T. Kirkwood, MPH

Maureen has worked for 30 years in local and state public health, the nonprofit community, and as the owner of her own consulting business. She received her master’s degree in public health from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. In 2014, she initiated and led the formation of Health Net of West Michigan and has served as Executive Director since that time. In that role, she helps lead a number of system-level community initiatives, including the Kent County Population Health Consortium, the Kent County Complex Care Collaborative, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid’s Accountable Health Communities project in Kent County, for which Health Net is the grantee.
